Lucy Farrow
Lucy Farrow introduced William J. Seymour to Charles F. Parham. In the September 1906 edition of the Apostolic Faith she is called "God's anointed handmaid." The periodical said, "God greatly used" her "as she laid her hands on many who have received the Pentecost and the gift of tongues." Along with Joseph A. Warren, Lucy came to Los Angeles from Houston in the summer of 1906. By September she had returned to Houston.
From Houston she traveled to Norfolk, Virginia. Norfolk was her childhood home before being sold into slavery in the south.
Much more biographical material on Lucy Farrow will be added soon. Check back.
