According to Raymond Cox, Kelso Glover received the bapitsm in the Holy Spirit at the Azusa Street Mission. Cox said Glover received the Spirit behind the piano. Early in the meetings, there were no instruments, so Kelso could have receieved later in the mission's life or quite possibly at the Bonnie Brae Street home of Richard and Ruth Asbery, where Jeanne Moore played the piano when the fire first fell.
Glover was a student at the University of California at the time. For a season he served as pastor of Stone Church in Chicago.
In July 1943 Aimee Semple McPherson brought Glover to Angeles Temple. He seved the Temple for many years as an associate pastor.
In 1956 on the anniversary of the Azusa revival, glover wrote a booklet, "Fifty Years in Pentecost." The book is very rare. If you have a copy or aware of a copy, please drop us a note at info@azusastreet.org.
