Rev. Hill
Rev. Hill was a Nazarene pastor in Los Angeles. He had been in the ministry for twenty years and had a difficult time accepting the Pentecostal message. He said he had to get "pretty near the end of himself to believe."
For three weeks, Hill searched the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Finally convinced of the reality of Pentecost, he received the Holy Ghost baptism on July 10, 1906. He said, "Any fellow who will get down on his knees and pray through and read through, will find that the Holy Ghost falls on a clean temple."
Mrs. Hill also received the Holy Spirit with the "Bible evidence."
