Mrs. S. P. Knapp
Mrs. S. P. Knapp was healed of consumption at the Azusa meetings on August 12, 1906. Consumption is an old name for tuberculosis. Some estimate the disease has killed over a billion people in the past two centuries. At one time, 80% of its victims died from the disease. This healing was no small matter. Knapp lived at Avenue 56 and Alameda in Los Angeles.
Knapp's father, Frank Gail, sent an affidavit to the Apostolic Faith testifying to the healing.
