Thomas P. Mahler

Thomas P. Mahler is described as "a young man of German nationality." He had the gift of tongues and was also fluent in several languages. He left the mission in the summer of 1906 going to San Bernardino. He had plans to go as a missionary to Alaska, Norway, Russia, Germany and finally Africa.

Ansel Post gave a message in tongues when Mahler left the mission on an outreach. He interpreted the message as "I have anointed this dear one with my Spirit, and he is a chosen vessel ot me to preach the gospel to many, and to suffer martydom in Africa." (Sept. 1906, Apostolic Faith). www.azusastreet.org has no information as to the validity of the prophecy.
