T. W. McConnell

T. W. McConnell's testimony appears in the September 1906 Apostolic Faith. He was converted in approximately 1878. He went to a meeting to cause division and interrupt the service, but was saved instead. At first he resisted the call to preach, but eventually surrendered. He had great, anointed meetings, but when he heard of the Holy Ghost baptism at Azusa Street he came to Los Angeles to investigate. He found the experience to be real and received his personal baptism and spoke in tongues.

McConnell said, ". . . test God and you will never deny the baptism with the Holy Ghost."

In the same issue of the periodical, McConnell shared a testimony of how God miraculously provided wood for him when he had none.

McConnell's son was a nationally known healing evangelist.
