Ardel K. Mead
Ardel K. Mead and her husband, Samuel, were Methodist missionaries to Africa. They were sent by Bishop Taylor in 1885.
The Meads attended the revival for several weeks in the summer of 1906 and were baptized in the Holy Ghost. Ardel wrote several testimonies for the Apostolic Faith. According to the report, they heard people speaking in African dialects with which they were familiar from their mission work when they were baptized in the Holy Ghost and spoke with tongues.
More information is coming soon on the Meads.
