Isaac Seymour
Isaac Seymour was born March 31, 1887 in Centerville, Louisiana. He was the son of Simon Seymour and Philis Salabar and younger brother of William Seymour. Like William and his other siblings, Isaac was baptized at the Catholic church in Franklin, Louisiana.
On June 5, 1917 when Isaac registered for the World War I draft, he was living at 949 Hemlock in Los Angeles, California. Although he was not working at the time, Isaac was a "laborer" who was caring for his aging mother. He was not married.
Isaac was 5 feet 7 inches tall and medium build. His eyes and hair were black.
It seems too odd to be true, but Isaac like his older brother William was blind in one eye. Apparently this disqualified him from military service.
