I. May Throop

I. May Throop was one of the volunteers that worked in the offices at the Azusa Street Mission. On September 28, 1906, she wrote T. B. Barratt and encouraged him to receive the Holy Ghost baptism.

Barratt was a church leader in Norway and had met some Azusa pilgrims in New York. He later received his baptism and for a while was the prominent Pentecostal leader in Europe.

Throop's letter will be included in our next book, Azusa Street Lectures, Lessons and Letters.
